Case Sensitive is a psychological thriller about an internet star, MissTulips22, who contrives her own abduction to get more subscribers to her video blog channel. Unfortunately, one of her fans, Lee, takes her plight seriously, and upon trying to rescue her, ends up killing her “captor”, who turns out to really be her boyfriend. Rather than reporting the death, a frightened and angry Lee decides to continue entertaining viewers with scenes from an abduction that has taken a sharp turn from fiction to fact. But having recently been exposed as an internet fraud, no one believes MissTulips’ online pleas for help. And like the girl who cried wolf, her appearances on the video blogs only serve as ironic counterpoint to the reality of her imprisonment. But one beleaguered undercover cop senses that not everything is at it appears on the blogs and sets out to save MissTulips in a quest that blurs the line of truth with disconcerting results.
