Heartfelt and thought provoking, SLEATHER follows the comedic adventures of Linus, JB and Charlie, three friends with three different outlooks on life. When Linus, a wise-cracking dreamer, is pressured by his successful older sister, Lucy, into taking a better paying job, his friend JB rushes to his side to prevent Linus from being trapped in what he calls the 'white picket prison.' JB, a larger than life, lovable schemer, convinces Linus that he has the cure to Linus's mundane life and the key to getting out of his sister's shadow. Charlie, the most practical of the three knows that nothing is ever what JB makes it out to be, but helps Linus despite his doubts in the latest scheme. Fed up with an unfulfilled life, Linus quits his job at a retail electronics store and embarks on a quest that takes him on many different adventures in search of fame and fortune, often with absurd results. SLEATHER is an upbeat, fast-paced journey about friends, family, and fame.

Sapsucker interweaves bird footage from Cornell University's Lab of Ornithology with live action to forge a delirious vision of ultimate justice, raising questions of the fundamental faith we place in our corporeal senses and the ephemeral laws of nature and property possession we cultivate to make them real.
