Full of quirky surprises and a brilliant star-studded Brit cast, this heartwarming feature comedy follows the fortunes of one of the leading Morris teams in the country and their struggle to drag, kick and cajole an ancient practice into the 21st century. Its avant garde leader, Derecq Twist, is preparing to perform the ultimate Morris Dance, the mystical and legendary Threeple Hammer Damson, and yet, he is also pioneering an innovative and daring freeform dance dubbed Extreme Morris. Ignoring warnings from the sinister governing board of Morris dancing, Derecq is (gasp!) banned for his experimental notions. Devastated by the decision, he embarks on a global odyssey through tragedy and triumph, which gravely tests his passions.
