When college graduate Peter Landsman moves to the city to pursue a career in professional accounting, cold-calling banks in search of a good job, he finds himself in a situation far less predictable... working at the local skating rink and living in a rundown apartment. But one fateful night, a battered young woman stumbles into his apartment. Unwittingly, Landsman is lured into a seedy underworld of black market traders and killers. Shot in gorgeous, stark black and white, DARKEST CORNER is a confident, film noir with a quiet elegance and efficiency.
