TRUST ME
OREGON PREMIERE!

Directed by Andrew Kazamia
United States, 97 mins.
Comedy
Sunday, 2:30 PM, The Elsinore

Filmmakers Enn Reitel & Peter Morris in Attendance!

Danny, a twenty-something small town con-artist, arrives in Hollywood with little more than a big smile, a polished line of patter, and a flashy girlfriend. When he meets Joe, a shy middle-aged janitor with an uncanny gift for impressions, Danny hears opportunity knock and throws the door open wide. The two form an uneasy partnership, combining Danny’s charm and questionable work ethics with Joe’s big heart and unusual talents, and they embark on a series of hilarious misadventures exposing them to a world they could never have imagined. For the enterprising Danny, this relationship begins as a get-rich-quick scheme; for Joe, it’s the enthralling possibility of transforming himself from a nobody into a somebody. With Danny and Joe’s unlikely pairing, Trust Me is a funny, smart, satirical look at the entertainment industry, politics, greed, and America’s cultural obsession with fame. This true gem is guaranteed to make you laugh…trust me!

Filmmaker William Fisher In Attendance!

In this intimate portrayal of the power of memory and dreams, a little girl reads a letter from the past.

William Fisher (Director of Whirling Dervish)

William Fisher is an ornamental welder who has lived in Colorado for the past eleven years. After graduating from Ohio University he wrote and edited documentary films for the A&E Network. He has recently made two short films which have played at film festivals around the country.

Enn Reitel (Actor)

Before becoming an actor, Enn Reitel had a variety of jobs including: selling advertising space, Double-glazing, window cleaner and stable lad. Enn trained for three years at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. His first professional engagement was as a founder member of The Royal Exchange Theatre Company, playing alongside such actors as Albert Finney, Tom Courtney and a former crewmember Emma Thompson. But it is by being heard and not seen that Enn has made his biggest impact. One of the premiere voice talents and impressionists in the UK, he has voiced hundreds if not thousands of TV and radio commercials. During his love affair with racing he also bred and rode racing horses, even managing to win a race as a jockey, a feat, he says, that will not be repeated in the near future.

Peter Morris (Producer)

Born in Scotland and now living in  Los Angeles Peter Morris is a "recovering journalist" who has worked in television for over twenty years for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 (UK) ABC (Australia) and various US cable channels as both a presenter and producer. He is C.O.O. of Melanie Greene Management  (LA), Chairman of the Board of Directors of BAFTALA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) and the US based charity “Friends of Scotland” (patron Sir Sean Connery). In addition to Trust Me, Morris has two other feature films in development. When he's not busy working on low (or no) pay projects he really likes he spends his time trying to make his bio more interesting- a work in progress obviously!
