Filmmaker Ron Vignone will be in attendance!
A loving young couple, Ben and Sydney set out to have the dream wedding, but they never planned for the detours they would bump into along the way. A film about the limo ride to happily-ever-after, Say I Do surreptitiously captures the couple’s outrageous and unfortunate alternate route to the altar through the profoundly personal document of their best man’s handheld camera. With a cinema vérité grit and a droll, comical wit akin to the musings of Wallace Shawn, this intelligent independent film has an immensely broad appeal. Garnering numerous screenplay and jury awards from festival’s around the country, it’s a spirited and sentimental story that will leave you with the satisfying warmth to reach out and jump head first wherever your heart may lead.

Ron Vignone (Director)
Ron Vignone has been an avid storyteller his whole life. He attributes this, in great part, to growing up in an Italian-American household where you wouldn’t be heard unless you were either yelling or telling a better story than someone else. Aiming to increase his story skills, he attended the USC and received a degree in Lit and Writing. His first venture into the film industry was at Universal Studios, where he met film director Fred Schepisi. He worked with the director for four years. While continuing to work and learn in the Editing rooms at Sony Pictures Studios, Ron wrote, directed and acted in a short film, Snooze. He is preparing to direct his next feature film, Sequence, at the end of 2008.
