Filmmaker Mike Jacobs in attendance!
Director Michael Jacobs’ documentary provides a fascinating glimpse into the lives of those rare souls who dare to act on their dreams - consequences be damned. While most filmmakers are drawn to their work by a strong creative impulse and the driving passion to tell a particular story, few are called by God to make a hallowed opus. Meet film subject Richard Gazowsky, pastor of the Voice of Pentecost Church in San Francisco and self-anointed film director. Responding to a vision from God to start a film company, WYSIWYG Filmworks was born. Despite a complete lack of filmmaking experience, Gazowsky goes into production on Gravity: The Shadow of Joseph, an overtly religious sci-fi epic pitched as "Star Wars meets The Ten Commandments." Shooting on 70mm to achieve true biblical proportions, the production hinges on the $100 million promised, but not yet delivered, by Jesus-loving German investors. Working on little more than blind faith, miracles and blessings soon give way to a series of technical and -perhaps Satanically influenced? difficulties. Director Michael Jacobs’ fascinating and highly entertaining film overflows with humor and pathos, religiously documenting this modern story of obsession, faith and delusion.

The Windfisherman

The Wind Fisherman lives in the windiest town in the world where he 'fishes' for things that have blown away and returns them to their rightful owners.
