“Cattaneo delivers a heartwarming family fable that both parents and kids can enjoy.” -NEW YORK POST
This warm-hearted testament to loyalty and family bonds is big on tenderness and triumph. A good imagination is a terrible thing to waste, but when a young girl’s imaginary friends, Pobby and Dingan, become an embarrassment to the family, her mom, dad and brother, Ashmol (Christian Byers) rally to find a way to help Kellyanne (Sapphire Boyce) move away from the pretend life she’s so absorbed in. Set in a small community in the Australian Outback, the Williamsons scrape by with mom’s income as a supermarket clerk so that dad can chase his dreams mining for opal on his own dusty patch of land, convinced he’s only minutes from striking it rich. When Kellyanne’s “friends” get lost on an outing with dad, she is frantic, miserable and sick with worry until, Ashmol, attesting to the strength of love, dismisses his skepticism to pull out all the stops in bringing her peace of mind.
