We have tentatively scheduled Thomas Coulter Comcast Spotlight Director/Producer, Gino Corridori KATU Photojournalist, and Dave Metzger Score Composer with major motion picture credits, to discuss their respective “Paths” into the industry.  This is a career exploration event and discussion opportunity; questions about industry survival and success are encouraged.  Find out how they did it and learn from real professionals who are doing their job everyday.

If you’re interested in starting a career in film please join us as these three “local boys done good” share their experiences in the industry. This panel will address everything from getting your foot in the door to getting your first project off the ground.

The three Heder brothers (Dan, Doug, and Jon) have recently formed their own production company, Greasy Entertainment and will be talking about the development of exciting future projects from features to animation. All three brothers studied film at Brigham Young University and have each established Hollywood track records in diverse areas.

Please join us as we dissect the anatomy of the industry and hear from this panel of experts about the ins and outs of getting your film off the ground. Writers, directors, and even an award winning animator will be on hand to offer advice on making and marketing your own project. These talented filmmakers, whose works appear in the festival, discuss various aspects of independent filmmaking, distribution and marketing. From concept to completion - and beyond - they will lead you through the ups and downs that went into telling the story and seeing it through to the big screen.
